The Blackest Bird

THE BLACKEST BIRD is inspired by a real-life unsolved mystery from 19th-century New York. The victim is Mary Rogers, an alluring young woman, who worked as a clerk in a tobacco shop frequented by literary luminaries such as James Fenimore Cooper, Washington Irving, and Edgar Allen Poe.
